So, your Book Club is coming over to have their monthly meeting.

If you are me, then you decide you need decor.

Book inspired decor.

This is easy to make and I didn’t make a trip to craft store. I used everything I had at home.

Yes, that means I tore up a book. That is the worst part but once you get over that, you can get to work.

First, take a paper plate and cut the inside circle out. Doesn’t have to be perfect. Mine was far from perfect.

Then, rip out pages and roll from corner to corner.

Glue and the  glue on to plate.

I rolled the entire sheet of paper for the outer ring but then to make a different size and fill in, I cut the sheets in half. Just makes it fuller. Also, at this time, I added my ribbon to hang.

See the double layer, different sizes.

Now, remember the inside of the plate you cut out. Let’s decorate it! I folded 3 book pages accordian style and glued on the plate. Making a circle. Then, I had some blank spots and I mod podged book page strips. Then, after raiding my sticker drawer I found these flowers and added one.

I just love how easy this was and a price of $0 is fantastic!!!

I also love the red and blue flowers that I added.

You can find these at Michael’s.

Now, I am going to make a table runner with book pages. More decor then I move on to yummy party snacks.

Always remember to Create, Share and Inspire!
