Fence Post Welcome Sign

Old fence post + paint+ wood numbers+rocks+Ribbon

I had this old fence post sitting in my garage and I knew I always wanted to create something with it. But as always the question is what is inspiring me lately?

Since I am currently decorating my porch for spring, I decided to create a welcome sign but I am also keeping summer in mind so that it can stay out there for a many months. With a little paint and some wood letters that I  had in my craft room. Again, the benefits of being a craft hoarder pay off!

Then, it hit me. This sign needs birds. Rock birds! Luckily, I live in Arizona so rocks are never a rare find. One trip to my front yard and I had the perfect rocks to paint.

I had everything I needed for this project at home so this project cost me $0, nada, nothing, zero!

Gotta love that! Welcome Spring!
